On August 20, 2026, we will welcome the class of 2030 to Colgan High School for their 9th Grade Orientation from 7:30am to 12:10 pm. Throughout the day, students will meet their counselors, walk their schedule, meet teachers, have lunch with their peers, and get a swag bag with Colgan gear.

Doors will open at 7am. To begin the day, students will be able to explore the Clubs and Activities Fair in the gym from 7:30am-8am. Parents/guardians who are attending will be invited to a brief session with Mr. Litz in the auditorium beginning at 7:30 before transitioning to the activities fair from 8am to 9am, where they can explore activities and purchase Colgan gear from our boosters. As parents and guardians leave at 9 am, they will exit through Door 3 and will pick up their student's iPad.

Students will follow the schedule below for the day:

• 7am-7:30am: Arrival
• 7:30am-8am: Clubs and Activities fair (gym)
• 8:10am-8:50am: Welcome and Introduction (Auditorium)
• 8:50am-9:45am: Snacks, Counselor session, Admin. Intro (Homebase)
• 9:50am-12:10pm: Students will follow their schedule, have lunch, and participate in leadership sessions.

While attendance is not required, we highly encourage all students to attend to get a head start on their high school career. We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2030 to the Shark Tank!
