Colgan high school is a large school with over 2,800 students, and every student has a story to tell. Each week a Colgan student will share a story of their accomplishment on the website, on Instagram, and the full conversation can be heard on Spotify. Stories are released every Wednesday.

Melanie Rosado, National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist

Melanie Rosado, class of 2022, was named a National Merit Semi-Finalist. Melanie is one of 16,000 semi-finalist who are recognized for earning high scores after taking the 2020 PSAT or National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors achieve such a prestigious honor. Learn more about Melanie's story.

Najah Ghani Perryman spotlight

Najah Ghani Perryman

Najah Ghani Perryman (class of 2022) has recently committed to Talladega College in Alabama to play basketball as guard. She has been playing basketball since she was six years old and has loved the role the game and her teammates have played in her life so far. When visiting Talladega, she felt like she found her home for the next four years, full of family and legacy.
