Colgan High School Prom

This year’s Junior/Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 7-10:30 pm at the National Marine Corps Museum. Here is important information regarding guests, ticket sales, and venue information. Ticket Information

  • Tickets will cost $50 per person
  • Only Colgan Juniors and Seniors can purchase tickets.
  • All ticket sales will be online. Purchase tickets by going to Hometown Ticketing in the designated windows of time. Students will need their student ID number to purchase tickets.
    • Seniors ONLY can purchase tickets beginning on March 31, 2025 through April 7, 2025 at 2:30pm
    • Juniors and Seniors can purchase tickets from April 7, 2025 at 2:30pm through April 16, 2025 at 5pm.
  • Only 1,000 tickets will be sold due to the size of the venue.
  • Tickets are not transferable and cannot be refunded.
  • On prom night, students will need their electronic ticket AND their ID.

Guest Information

  • Juniors and seniors may only bring one guest.
  • Guests must be in grades 10-12. 9th grade students and middle school students are not permitted to attend prom.
  • All guests must be under the age of 20.
  • The Colgan student and their guest must arrive and leave the event together.
  • Guest forms must be filled out for any guest who is not currently attending Colgan, guests who are no longer in high school (but under the age of 20), AND guests who are in 10th grade at Colgan but are attending with
    • Guest forms will be available in the main office and the satellite office. A printable guest form is available by clicking this link.
    • Guest forms MUST be turned in by the end of the school day on March 26 to the front office. No guest forms will be accepted after March 26.
    • Juniors and Seniors who submit guest forms will receive an email with guest approval and directions on how to purchase the guest ticket. Students will be notified no later than March 31.

Venue Information

Students are reminded that the Marine Corps Museum is a federal museum. In addition to PWCS rules and regulations, there are specific requirements we must follow.

  • Shoes must be worn at all times while in the museum.
  • There will be a coat check, but only coats can be checked. In the event of rain, there will be umbrella stands for your umbrellas.
  • Bags are not permitted in the museum. Small clutch purses that hold a cellphone and keys will be permitted, but will be searched by museum security upon entrance.
  • Students will walk through the evolv machine at the entrance.
  • Prom is over at 10:30 pm and students must leave immediately following the conclusion of the dance.
  • There is no re-entry to prom.
