Parking Permits and Senior Parking Space Painting
Parking Permits
Parking passes are available online at this time for juniors and seniors. Parking passes cost $100.
To purchase, please complete the following steps:
- Purchase your parking pass using the PWCS Quickpay Service
- Download, complete, and print the PWCS Student Parking Application
Parking passes will be distributed and parking spaces assigned after school in Commons B beginning Tuesday, August 20th through Wednesday, August 28th. Students should bring a completed application, proof of parking pass purchase, and driver's license.
Seniors can paint their parking space for $25. The funds to paint parking spaces are a fundrasier for the Class of 2025. Seniors who are interested in painting your parking space, please complete the following steps.
- Login at Student Quickpay and purchase a Class of 2025 painting pass
- Complete the Painting Contract and upload to the Canvas assignment
- Complete your Painting Design and upload to the Canvas assignment
Only designs uploaded to Canvas will be accepted.

Parking Space Painting
You may only paint on approved days at approved times. Parking Space Painting will occur on:
- Monday, August 12th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm
- Tuesday, August 13th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm
- Saturday, August 24th from 2pm to 5:30 pm. This is a change from previous communications due to SAT administration during the original scheduled time.
- Friday, August 30th from 10am to 2pm
The building will not be open/available on painting days and times.
Painting Guidelines
- Parking space selection is first come/first serve on the day you paint. Once you have selected a space to paint, you cannot change it. All spaces have been numbered.
- All designs must be approved by the school prior to painting.
- All designs must adhere to the Prince William County Schools’ Code of Behavior.
- The administration of Colgan High School reserves the right to not allow any design that is deemed to be offensive or controversial. The judgement on the appropriateness of design is at the sole discretion of the school administration.
- The following are examples of things not allowed:
- offensive language, pictures, or symbols
- negative or rude language
- drug/alcohol references
- double meaning
- other students' names or likenesses
- All paint and supplies must be provided by the student.
- Only water-based paint is allowed to be used. No glitter paint, oil-based, reflective paint, or spray paint is allowed.
- Students must clean up all of their supplies and trash and take everything with them when they are done painting.
- All spaces are numbered. Students may not paint in the area where the number is located. Students will be responsible to paying restitution if painting occurs outside of the approved area. This includes paint spills, splatters, etc...
