Susan Watts-Stemple has many years of experience teaching various aspects of social studies from grades 9-12. This year she is fortunate to teach in two specific subject areas that she loves; Politics and World History. Mrs. Watts-Stemple has a degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and has taught college-level World History and Politics courses for over two decades in 4 different high schools. She also holds a master’s degree in Education from George Mason University in the area of Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Watts-Stemple looks forward to being able to teach in the advanced placement program and to share her love of history and politics with the students at Colgan. She also loves all sports that are Boston! She coached soccer and softball briefly, but she now enjoys watching her own kids play soccer, basketball and baseball. Mrs. Watts-Stemple enjoys music and the arts as well as being involved with student activities outside of the classroom. She absolutely loves working with teens and is very excited to get to know Colgan students! Let's have a great year together!
