Ashley Ausborn has had three years of experience as an assistant athletic trainer at University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Mrs. Ausborn also served as a lecturer in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation department and provided primary care for the golf, softball, and wrestling teams. Mrs. Ausborn brings an extensive athletic training background to the Colgan staff. She completed a stint as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Central Loudoun Youth Football League in Loudoun, Va. She implemented the first ever safety program for the youth league and also authorized the safety manual and emerge action plan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from George Mason University in 2011 and her Master of Science in Exercise, Fitness and Health Promotion from George Mason University in 2013. Mrs. Ausborn is a nationally certified athletic trainer. She is certified by the American Heart Association in BLS/CPR and an approved clinical instructor.
